My money's on Ron Rivera. It's a good thing they were playing at home today or he might have had to make arrangements to get back from Dallas.

Commanders lost 10 of their last 11. The lone win being the Patriots.

Adios, BB.

Odd question since Raiders and Chargers already fired their coaches during the season.

You forgot the Panthers.

Then again, everyone forgets the Panthers.

Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots are expected to part ways today after a remarkable 24 seasons together, ending an unmatched run in NFL history that included six Super Bowl titles, league sources tell me and @MikeReiss.

Congratulations, SSS, you learned to count to two. In the next lesson, you’ll learn that six is greater than two. Then again, I know math can be complicated for a Giants fan, so maybe we should take it slower.

Baby steps.

The Dallas Cowboys are retaining coach Mike McCarthy, the team announced Wednesday.

“I believe this team is very close and capable of achieving our ultimate goals and the best step forward for us will be with Mike McCarthy as our head coach. There is great benefit to continuing the team’s progress under Mike’s leadership as our head coach. Specifically, there are many layers of success that have occurred this season as a result of Mike’s approach to leading the team, both with individual players and with our team collectively.

The Las Vegas Raiders named interim head coach Antonio Pierce the permanent head coach. Pierce played for Washington and the New York Giants and was on the Giants team that won the 2008 Super Bowl against mediocre competition.

The Carolina Panthers have hired Tampa Bay Bucs offensive coordinator Dave Canales as their new head coach. Considering that the team didn't score a touchdown in four of its last five games and was shut out in its last two, the offense needs quite a bit of work.

The Washington Commanders have hired former Falcons head coach Dan Quinn to be their new coach. As a lifelong New York Giants fan who occasionally gets discouraged thinking about Dallas and Philadelphia being in the same division, it's reassuring to know that we can always look down on Washington.

On scale of 3 to 28, I give this hiring a solid 10.

The Eagles have parted ways with offensive coordinator Brian Johnson, defensive coordinator Sean Desai, and senior defensive assistant Matt Patricia, replaced by Kellen Moore on offense and Vic Fangio on defense. Staying put are head coach Nick Sirianni (for now), special teams coordinator Michael Clay, and beloved offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland.
