Here's a link to Entertainment Weekly's year-end list of celebrities who died in 2023. It includes photos and a paragraph of information about each (including links to longer articles about many of them), and it's probably the most comprehensive listing you'll find. It's in reverse chronological order with Tommy Smothers almost at the top and those who died in January at the bottom. It includes (i) people I'd never heard of; (ii) people I didn't realize had died this year, and (iii) people I though had died years earlier.

I haven't looked yet, but I definitely recall thinking several times this year, "damn, I thought they were already dead! Good for them for making it longer."
