I was today years old

#1 Post by a1mamacat » Tue Dec 05, 2023 9:33 pm

When I learned that you can replace an oven coil without calling a service person.

Clogged kitchen faucet. - fixed my own self.

Liner for bottom of garage door -attached my own self.

Clogged eaves trough - cleared my own self.

Clogged kitchen pipe - left that to a professional with a 20 foot power hose

Broken torsion spring for garage door - left that to the professional too.

Having only been a homeowner for six years, renting for the last forty, I am indulging in a pat on my own back.

That's awesome!

Since my semi-retirement I have fixed our washer, dryer, and 2 toilets. YouTube FTW!

Her rate is cheap (Canadin $ and everything), but the trip charge will kill ya.

That was all today?!

I'm crippled enough that I have to pay for almost everything. I can unclog a toilet, though.
