RIP Jack Mildren

He survived the immoveable Husker defense in 1971, but not stomach cancer.

This was a shock to a lot of people, as not many folks knew about the cancer. I hadn't heard so much as a whisper about it.

"The Game of the Century" was the most exciting football game I could ever hope to see.

Every time I hear about the death of one of my college contemporaries (not the same school but the same time frame), I feel a lot older....
