A horrible car crash killed former University of Houston football players D.J. Hayden (who played in the NFL for eight seasons), Zach McMillan and Ralph Oragwu, as well as three other passengers. My heart aches for the Houston community.

A few hours earlier, NBA player Kelly Oubre Jr. was injured by a hit-and-run in Philadelphia. Thank God he's been released from the hospital and will recover.
