I start a class next Saturday that runs five weeks, 830 am - 330 pm on Saturdays. I had asked off for as many of the preceding Friday nights as possible (doc gave me some Ambien today to help with going to bed so many hours earlier than normal).
Our schedule was sent out today for the next three weeks, and I have all three Fridays off, despite a nasty staffing problem we have with training on a new pagination system.
My immediate supervisor is way hard to work for sometimes, but this department manager has been nothing but helpful the year I've been here. It helps that I will swap schedules to help him, of course, but it is nice to have a mutually-agreeable arrangement.
