All-Pro linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams in the 1960s and early 70s and, before that, all-American at Georgia Tech. After his playing career ended, he spent the next 25 years as head coach at Cornell and an assistant coach for various NFL teams.
