Many thanks. The most recent forecast I've seen has the brunt of the storm heading into the desert east of Los Angeles. We'll probably get a bunch of rain and some high winds, but short of a tropical storm. --Bob

On our news right now, they said that someone built sand berms to protect against the storm surges.
Someone needs to speak with LA District of Corps of Engineers.

No winds to speak of, and I've seen more rain in winter storms. Looks like the desert bore the brunt of the storm. --Bob
