Amazon Prime Day

I don't really need anything, and most of the stuff I might get from there I can eventually get for free through the Amazon Vine program. But one thing I grabbed was a Golden Corral gift card. 20% off and pay with my Amazon credit card and get another 5% off. Plus, go there just before 4:00 when they raise their prices for dinner, and I save another 33% or so.

BTW, the last time I went to Golden Corral, I noticed one older man at a table near me, and he was nibbling at a salad and reading a book (the old-fashioned kind with printed pages). Since they weren't all that crowded, nobody said anything, and when he went back for more food (with the dinner buffet out), he just got some more salad. I sure as heck hope I don't wind up spending my afternoons doing that because I've got nothing better to do.
