WWTBAM Bored

Heather is in the hospital with Covid and pneumonia. They move her from the ER to the ICU overnight. They'll put her on a ventilator later today if her oxygen levels decrease. They're talking about an induced coma too.

Her immune system must be terrible due to her pancreatic cancer, which has now infected her liver. She hadn't been anyplace except her apartment and the hospital in weeks, so she must have become infected in the hospital.

Prayers, vibes, etc., are welcome.

Given her condition, they won't put her on a ventilator; it would just prolong the inevitable.

I'm flying to Denver at 5:30 tomorrow morning. She may not last that long.

I’m remembering some of the things that you have mentioned about her here. I remember thinking on those occasions that she must be a very interesting and remarkable woman. Someone that I would have cherished knowing.
