Mis-Disinformation
Regarding the injunction blocking the Biden Admin from contacting social media companies to 'protect' us from mis or dis-information.
Apparently, the FBI and the 51 traitors warned the social media companies about Hunter Biden's laptop being Russian disinformation. And they merrily went about censoring mention of the laptop. Which many people have said may have swayed the election.
C'mon now, usual suspects. You can do this. It's not hard.
WHAT ACTUALLY TURNED OUT TO BE DISINFORMATION?
If we are to be consistent, shouldn't any social media content posted by any one of those 51 traitors be at least accompanied by a warning?
Shouldn't social media content originating from the FBI be censored by the social media 'moderators' as originating from a group that has a history of spreading disinformation?
C'mon now... Stretch that brain of yours.

The lack of trolling on this thread and on the question I asked months ago "DID TRUMP COLLUDE WITH THE RUSSIANS?" is pretty telling. When they can't find their 'experts' on the internet to make their opinions for them, and they can't even go through the convolutions in their brains to convince them they are still right, they don't even call me names. They just ignore it.

Love it. No response from the usual suspects except more nonsense from travis. No answer? Just ignore it.
Here's the answer: The democrat party spread the disinformation and actively censored any reference they could find to the TRUTH. I guess they were just circulating THEIR truth.
Explain to me where I'm wrong, Usual Suspects, and add to the ever-expanding hypocrisy center of your brains.... Or just call me names, much easier.

Made you look.
I wasn’t just tossing out some random insulting comment. Just pointing out what some others might have noticed as well. You keep insisting that there haven’t been any responses to your question about collusion with Russians. If you have something to say about those responses, you should express that. It has become very tiresome, though, to see you continuing to professs ignorance of those responses.

Re: Mis-Disinformation
Russia interfered in the 2016 election. That's been proven. Donald Trump asked Russia's help in the 2016 election. He said so at a widely publicized campaign rally. What Mueller never proved to his satisfaction was any meeting of the minds between Trump representatives and Russian operatives to conduct such a campaign.
The 51 experts are not traitors. You need to look up the definition of treason. They expressed an opinion, based on their experience. Here is the relevant portion of their letter:
They expressed an opinion. Many people expressed opinions about various matters during that time frame that supported either Trump or Biden. That's what people do in the run-up to an election. Here's a link to an October 15, 2020, article in which three experts graded Trump's handling of the economy (one was positive; two were mixed): https://source.wustl.edu/2020/10/washu- ... e-economy/[E]ach of us believes deeply that American ci8zens should determine the outcome of elec8ons, not foreign governments. All of us agree with the founding fathers’ concern about the damage that foreign interference in our poli8cs can do to our democracy. It is for all these reasons that we write to say that the arrival on the US poli<cal scene of emails purportedly belonging to Vice President Biden’s son Hunter, much of it related to his time serving on the Board of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma, has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.
We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails, provided to the New York Post by President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of Russian involvement -- just that our experience makes us deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case. If we are right, this is Russia trying to influence how Americans vote in this election, and we believe strongly that Americans need to be aware of this. There are a number of factors that make us suspicious of Russian involvement... [going on to list the various factors]
There is no evidence that the 51 experts knew their statement was wrong when they made it. In fact, the authenticity of either the laptop that the computer store gave the FBI or the alleged copy of the laptop that Rudy Giuliani distributed has never been proven. Some emails on that laptop appear to be genuine, but Rudy Giuliani has never been questioned under oath about the details surrounding his obtaining his copy of the laptop. The 30 Republican committees investigating the Bidens have the ability to subpoena Giuliani and the man who gave the laptop to the FBI and they haven't done so. Why? The answer is simple. It's a lot easier for them to spread allegations and innuendo, such as the "informant" who had the dirt on the Biden crime family, than it is to actually produce evidence in any type of formal proceeding involving sworn testimony. As we learned this week, the "informant," who never actually talked to anyone on the House committee, is an indicted arms trafficker and unregistered foreign agent who skipped bail and is in hiding.
I've responded to you before. The Bobs have responded to you before. I'm sure others on the Bored have as well. You just don't want to consider any real evidence, as opposed to the unsupported allegations and conspiracy theories your "experts" tout to their audience of willing, gullible fools.
By the way, are you planning to buy any memorabilia from the MyPillow firesale auction that's going to take place. I'm sure an autographed picture of Mike Lindell would look real good in your trophy case next to the Trump rally beads you cherish.

Re: Mis-Disinformation
Oh, they didn't know it was wrong when they made the statements? That is their defense?
Answer me this: Did they know it was the TRUTH when they made the statements that they KNEW would affect the election?
The answer is, and will always be NO. There's plenty of hard evidence that they did it on behalf of the biden campaign. So easy to maintain your self-delusions when you consider everything that doesn't support your version of events is automatically a lie.
Why then did they do it? The answer is obvious to anyone who isn't brainwashed so thoroughly that they don't know the difference between a man and a woman.
At least you admit that their statements were WRONG. And by admitting that, you admit that they spread disinformation. The rest is just self-delusion. If you've got any shred of integrity left, you will follow that thread and maybe come to some conclusions that will be hard for you to accept. It's called introspection.

They were just a campaign, not a government agency, so they weren't bound by the first amendment. Campaigns spread unproven allegations in every election (Ted Cruz's father supported Oswald.) Perhaps the tech companies should have been more wary of being manipulated.

The first amendment protects political speech. The Louisiana judge's order goes too far and prevents the government from flagging false advertising, for instance. There are gray areas, like RFK Jr.'s BS that endangers lives.flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 9:14 amPerhaps the tech companies should not trample on the first amendment rights of citizens at the behest of ANY governmental agency or administration.

Re: Mis-Disinformation
They said in the letter they didn't know whether their statement was accurate. They went on to list over a page of different factors (which I didn't quote but are in the link) that suggested to them that the laptop was Russian disinformation. Their letter was published October 19, over two weeks before the election. Trump was free to produce 51 or even one of his own experts to refute this. He didn't do so. That shows either poor calculation on his campaign's part or a lack of anyone credible willing to state an opposing opinion.flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 9:05 amOh, they didn't know it was wrong when they made the statements? Of course, the Biden campaign brought it to the attention of the 51 experts. Candidates seek endorsements and statements of support all the time. As to why they wrote the letter, they said so in the very first paragraph I quoted. Here's the paragraph that precedes that one:
Rudy Giuliani brought the information to the New York Post at a time when anyone with political sense knew it might affect the election. Biden's campaign took a common defense by soliciting the opinions of people with expertise on the subject. Trump failed to react. You're upset because Biden proved more adept than Giuliani at presenting opinions regarding a laptop that neither knew whether or not was genuine at the time (and still don't).We are all also individuals who see Russia as one of our na<on’s primary adversaries. All of us have an understanding of the wide range of Russian overt and covert ac<vi<es that undermine US na<onal security, with some of us knowing Russian behavior in<mately, as we worked to defend our nation against it for a career. A few of us worked against Russian information operations in the United States in the last several years.
And you haven't pointed to one word in the letter that you claim was an actual lie, only that they didn't know for a fact whether the letter was accurate (something they admitted in the letter) before giving their opinion as to what the laptop appeared to be.

Re: Mis-Disinformation
Are you by chance referring to the information supposedly in the possession of the indicted alleged whistleblower who has skipped bail and has been in hiding since October of 2022?flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 9:14 amMissing from your list is all the evidence of bribery and extortion tied to the big man that the authorities swept under the rug, and is only now coming out.

WHO ACTUALLY SPREAD THE DISINFORMATION? Just admit it. It will be ok. Just finally see it. Feel it. Let it touch you. It will heal you.

Re: Mis-Disinformation
The Russians spread disinformation in 2016. The 51 experts gave an opinion they clearly labeled as opinion in 2020. Simple enough.flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 9:34 amWHO ACTUALLY SPREAD THE DISINFORMATION? Just admit it. It will be ok. Just finally see it. Feel it. Let it touch you. Re: Mis-Disinformation
Yet Joe and the left-wing media presented the opinion as fact, so most people did not read the letter. My brother-in-law is a liberal PoliSci professor and he mentioned the letter to me as "documenting" the Russian disinformation excuse. I then read the letter and invited him to do the same. He was pissed about how it had been presented.silverscreenselect wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 9:48 amThe Russians spread disinformation in 2016. Re: Mis-Disinformation
The Fifth Circuit has granted a stay against the District Court order and set the case for expedited oral argument. Meaning they're going to issue a decision on the merits fairly soon.flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2023 11:45 amRegarding the injunction blocking the Biden Admin from contacting social media companies to 'protect' us from mis or dis-information.
