Anyone else here have this? Doing Epley maneuvers, which are enlightening. Just curious.
Well, then

Not me, but two friends/co-workers. Epley helped one, medication the other. It can be a beyotch.

I was talking to a coworker just today about this. He had to take his wife to the doctor in the middle of the day because she can't drive because of her vertigo. We also discussed the film.

Last year, I started having episodes where my vision would start spinning for a minute or two out of nowhere. I went to the doctor and he had me lie down and move my head in a certain way, and that brought on the spinning. He said it was because of some particles that had gotten stuck in my middle ear.

He gave me a pamphlet that described the Epley manuever (I think that's what it was called), and I did it once. The spinning has not returned since. I don't know how it works, but it did. Like magic.

I've had that experience lately also, but only when I lie down - there's a sense that the room is spinning and I'm going to pass out, but it goes away after a few seconds. What is the Epley maneuver?

Google it. There's a great illustration.

Right ear, do right,left,left
Left ear, left,right,right.
