Lowell Weicker, Connecticut governor and U.S. senator, dies at 92
Weicker was one of my senators when I lived in Connecticut. Then I moved to Pennsylvania, which also has a tradition of liberal Republicans like Arlen Spector and Richard Schweiker (not any more).
