The Consultant on Amazon Prime

This is a very, very, very, very, very dark comedy that won't be to everyone's tastes. It stars Christoph Waltz as a "consultant" who shows up at the offices of a mobile video game company after the death of the CEO under bizarre circumstances. He's got a signed contract that allows him to take charge of the company (even though he admits he knows nothing about video games). He begins making some very strange management decisions that rub a lot of employees the wrong way. All you have to know is that Christoph Waltz is playing this role, and you can pretty much guess a lot of what's going to happen.

It's a short series (eight half-hour episodes), and most people can binge it in one or two days. It's self-contained but there's a hook for a second season (which I don't think would be as effective since people would then know the big secret behind Waltz's stunts),
