Author of No Country for Old Men, The Road, and other acclaimed novels. Many considered him the best living American author at the time of his death.

Age 89.

Based on the movies I've seen which came from his books, I have to agree about that best living American author assessment. They're amazing.
-- In Iroquois society, leaders are encouraged to remember seven generations in the past and consider seven generations in the future when making decisions that affect the people.
-- America would be a better place if leaders would do more long-term thinking. -- Wilma Mankiller
