The old one with Raymond Burr? Or is this a new one?

Nevermind - just looked it up - I'll check it out.

We just watched ep5, chapter 13. You're saying another in works? Which would make sense, but can't find where it's set for broadcast.

Thx! Just found it. Nothing listed after the last we watched. Thought it ended too promptly.

I'm assuming that Season 2, like Season 1, will last for 8 episodes. --Bob

I didn't realize that there was a second season - I was fooled by the first episode being called episode 9. I watched the first season; now I'll be watching this one.

I know, chapter so and so. It would never bring us back to S1 instead of 2

Perry Mason has been cancelled by HBO. Ratings for the second season were considerably lower than for the first season.

This quote reminded me of a series that I haven't thought of in years.

I think I was a junior in high school (circa 1983-1984) and I got into a show called "Emerald Point NAS" about the goings on at a Naval Air Station.

I think it ended with a main character getting married and her bloody wedding dress being attached to a door with a knife-IIRC she had a stalker.

And that was how the series ended-with a bloody wedding dress.

For me it was Flash Forward. They just cancelled the series, Never revealed the casuse or reson for the phenomena.

A show I really enjoyed was Crime Story in the 1980s. It starred Dennis Farina as a Chicago cop who ran an elite squad that was trying to clean up the city in the 1950s. His main foe was a petty mobster played by Anthony Denison, who, as the show progressed, moved up in power. Halfway through the first season, all the main characters moved to Las Vegas. By the time the show ended, they moved again, this time to a small Central American country that Denison was trying to control the way the mob controlled Batista's Cuba.

The show ended at the end of season two with all the main characters on a plane, fighting with each other. The pilot gets shot and the plane is headed for a crash dive into the ocean. Since there was no season three, we never found out who, if anyone, survived.

It's still a great show (developed by Michael Mann) and widely available on various streaming services.

They turned that dog of a book into a series? One of the very few books I've ever reviewed on Amazon. I was not kind to it. --Bob
