To SSS-as you are our resident Bored Guru on Satellites and Surveillance technologies and, probably, by extension Space Strategy-I am wondering if you have any "Space" books that you might recommend that I add to my "Space" shelf. I will tell you most of what I have and you can fill any gaps that will help me understand Space strategy better.

Note-I haven't read all of these yet. The TBR pile is just too big.

1)"Winning Space: How America Remains a Superpower" by Brandon Weichert. IMHO-this is a necessary book to begin a study of Space Strategy-However, you may differ. That is how Weichert made his chops.

2)""Spacepower Ascendant: Space Development Theory and a New Space Strategy" By Joshua Carlson

3) "Deep Space Warfare: Military Strategy Beyond Orbit" by John C Wright

4) "Astropoloitik: Classical Geopolitics in the Space Age" by Everett C Dolman

5) "Mining the Moon: Bootstrapping Space Industry"

and I am sure we are both eagerly awaiting #6 which won't come out till November

6) "Astropolitics: How the Competition in Space Will Change Our World" by Tim Marshall

Hey, if you see any obvious ones that I am missing let me know and add it-I will appreciate it.

Oh, BTW-I bet we both are amused that Weichert calls the Chinese Balloons "Endo-atmospheric Satellites."

I haven't read any of Weichert's books or the others on your list, so I really can't comment on how accurate or well-written they may be.

My library of space literature suffered a big hit a few years ago when Mrs. SSS gave away my Lost in Space comic book collection.

Your lack of reading those books has nothing to do with your ability to comment on their accuracy, your seconde line above supports my position.
