When Gina Cattabrigida came to live with us, her name was Rosie. Ugh! Terrible name for a beautiful brunette, IMHO. We considered Liz Taylor, Sophia Loren, Ava Gardner, Myrna Loy, Audrey Hepburn, Sally Field, Halle Berry -- all beautiful, no doubt, but we couldn't figure out how to make a kittycat name out of them. So the beautiful Italian won the honor of being Gina's namesake.
The only movie of hers I can remember is Come September with Rock Hudson -- it must have been on the late show at some point. What a beauty!

I remember her in The Hunchback of Notre Dame as Esmerelda.

I remember Buona Sera, Mrs. Campbell. She had been with three different GIs during World War II and told each of them they were the father of her child so she could get support payments from all three (who by the 60s were all married with families of their own).
