I Joined My Second Democrat Group Yesterday (Seriously)

About a year ago, after serious reflection, I joined something called the Land Stewardship Project.
https://landstewardshipproject.org/
They are a pretty left-leaning group and I don't support everything they do or support-but I guess I support their core mission so I joined.
Yesterday, I joined the Minnesota Farmer's Union, which is the Democrat farmers' group. I have long been a member of the Farm Bureau which is the Republican Group. I just decided that the Farmers' Union has not been wrong about everything over time so I decided to join.
I told the guy who signed me up that I will not be an active member-just wanted to join.
FTR-I am still a solid Republican
Now, to ask the question is to answer it-I wonder if SSS and the Bobs are capable of similar nuance.

The Farm Bureau is anti-EPA (created by Nixon), but is it otherwise Republican?
In the 70s I was a registered Republican.

I don't speak for the Bobs or S3, but I will note that dozens of Dems in Colorado's CD3 were nuanced enough to disaffiliate and vote for Don Coram over Lauren Boebert in the R primary. Some of them have decided they like being unaffiliated, oh well. They still vote with Dems.
It's not you I'm worried about, Spock. It's the bunch who aren't solid Republicans -- they're fanatics to the point of death threats and damage. Instead of polite disagreement, they go straight to violent rhetoric. Supposedly Boebert said "Get the f... out of my face!" to Marjorie Taylor Greene, but I can't find confirmation from a reliable source. But given her rude and dismissive attitude, I believe it.

To Sprots-
I was thinking of you as I read a recent library book-it might be to your taste.
"This America of Ours: Bernard and Avis Devoto and the Forgotten Fight to Save the Wild."
I encourage you to check it out anyway.

Thanks, Spock. Looks like an excellent recommendation. My library doesn't have it, but they do have an interlibrary loan system, and I'll bet they can get it. That is, if the pandemic didn't kill that program. If I can't get it through the library, I'll spring for it at the bookstore.

Boebert's former restaurant is now a Mexican one.

Success! Sort of. The library will buy it, and it will be in hand in about two weeks. They must have read the same reviews I did.

Wow! This is an amazing book! Thanks!
Best political book I've read since
The Fifth Risk.
