It's not as good as Knives Out (the supporting cast isn't quite as good, nor is the plot). But it's a lot of fun, one of those tricky mysteries where you've got to keep your eyes and ears open to catch all the clues. Daniel Craig has a lot of fun as Benoit Blanc, the detective.
And as an added treat, the film takes place during the COVID pandemic (they've got a clever workaround for that). In an early scene, Blanc is playing some sort of online mystery game via Zoom call. The running joke in the movie is that Benoit Blanc, the world's greatest detective, is terrible at Clue-like mystery games. The other participants in the Zoom game include Stephen Sondheim and Angela Lansbury. It was both of their final film roles (admittedly Sondheim rarely appeared on camera). It was very fitting for them both to appear in this movie (there was a tribute notice to them in the closing credits.) There are some other celebrity cameos that I won't spoil.
A third Benoit Blanc film is in the works at Netflix.
