Thise week's final of the first round of the Second Chance tournament (former runner's up to super champs being given a 2nd chance to compete) had a potential Clavin.
Spoiler
At the end of Double Jeopardy on the second day of the two-day final round, one of the contestants couldn't be caugth if she didn't Clavin. But she did. She was fortunate the other two competitors also missed the final question
Jessica had 15,300 at the end of Double Jeopardy. Her day 1 total was 28,600. Had she wagered zero in Final Jeopardy she would have a total of 43,900.
James won day 1 with 30,929 but stunk up day two and only had 2,000 going into Final J. The most he could come out with was 34,929.
Molly came in 3rd on day 1 with 15,600 but had a respectable 10,600 from day 2 giving her a maximum outcome of 36,800.
Neither Molly nor James could catch Jessica....unless Jessica's inner Cliff came out. It did to the tune of a Final J wager of 10,000.
Both James and Molly missed the Final J question but had they not Molly would have ended up with 36,800, she bet it all, and James with 34,929, he also bet it all.
Jessical wagered 10,000 and missed ending up with 33,900. The winner but with less that James or Molly would have had had they got the Final J question correct.
Math is not Jessica's strength.
