Yeah, those final innings were brutal. I was trying to stay awake after a long day (in Boston) and having to get up early for our flight. But I was able to stay awake long enough to see the end.

A perfect day in baseball for me with the Padres eliminating the Dodgers, Philly eliminating the Braves and Cleveland going up a game on the Yankees.

The NLCS will be between two teams who just 11 years ago wouldn't even have made the playoffs, one of whom knocked off teams from each of the two BIG markets.

I'm sure this is just what Rob Manfred wanted....
