Game won't post; any suggestions?

I'm trying to post the new game, but I keep getting an error message. But, as you can see, I have no problem with this short post. Any suggestions?

There may be one line in the text that PHPBB doesn't accept. Try this: Post the first half of the game. If it works, edit the post and add the third quarter of the game. Keep going until you isolate the bad line.

This idea seems to be working. I'll be a sport and wait to submit answers until the whole game is posted.

Yes, it's working, but I'm still having trouble with the last 5 clues.

I've been trying to edit the last 3 clues in. I can't edit the text of the main post at all by adding anything to its end. I also tried editing the word "licked" to see whether that solved the problem, but it didn't. --Bob

Thanks, that did work up to a point. But I still can't get the last three questions onto the whole, even though I was able to post them in exactly the same form separately. Weird.

My experience is that posts have a maximum length; it's not documented.

That probably means we can merge them at some point in the consolidation process.

Based on the Bob's Log thread, I beg to differ that Frank's game post is anywhere near that length. This issue was first discovered by lb, who found that some seemingly innocuous string of characters in his post triggered the problem. --Bob
