RIP Sacheen Littlefeather

Native American activist best known for accepting Marlon Brando's Best Actor Oscar (for The Godfather) at the 1973 Academy Awards and delivering a speech criticizing Hollywood's treatment of Native Americans. This summer, the Academy issued an apology to Littlefeather for the treatment she received when she was booed off the stage.
