you have to pick thousands of individual little grapes from their bunch.
To our surprise we found a colony of wild grapes on the edge of the lawn, not very far from the house. We have lived here since 1991 and never seen it before.
They are perfect ripeness and picking the bunches from the plants was pretty quick and easy. Now I am working on plucking the individual grapes from their bunch. That takes forever,
Should be good when we are done.
I am a big wild plum jelly guy-my favorite breakfast is wild plum jelly on a blueberry bagel.
As a sidenote-the best place I have ever seen for wild plums was the Hell's Canyon area on the Snake River.
That was the same 2014 trip that we found wild huckleberries at peak ripeness in the mountains.

Re: Wild Grape Jelly Sounded Good Until
When I was growing up in Austin there were a lot of wild mustang grapes that would grow in the woods by our neighborhood. Also a lot of dewberries. My friends dad was a Luthern pastor, and amatuer wine maker. We picked over 20 gallons of mustang grapes one year. Pastor Pabor make about 30 bottles of wine. As a teenager, I preferred the wine from the dewberries. Probably would prefer the wine from the grapes now, it was much drier.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.
