The evening news ends just before SyndieBam starts at 7 pm. So, naturally, ABC immediately interrupts the show to announce that Hillary has won Kentucky, according to their exit polls. They couldn't wait for some real votes?

IIRC, I predicted this question would show up! :)

But I can't find the post here, so that must have been back on the TUB.

From www.ludology.org:
ludology (from ludus, the Latin word for "game")

Academic study of video games. To think that someone's tuition money is paying for this.

I nailed both of these questions.

So I'd be going for $100K with all lifelines intact.

A glutton for punishment, eh?

She has played well and followed her professed strategy - she told Meredith on her first show that she was going to read the questions carefully and take her time.

I knew this one before the answers were revealed. I wonder if they sometimes switch places to fool people. The ensuing hijinks would make a great sitcom, don't you think?

Good thing I wouldn't have had to deal with this question because I would have had no idea. Given the recent coining, it would probably be either A or C, and sure enough that's what the 50/50 left behind.

I'd have been going for $100K with all my lifelines still in play.

Dunno when this was taped, but the PM twin ain't PM anymore since November last.

"Ludology" is a recent coinage, no doubt, because the word mavens of a previous era would have complained loudly about the mixing of latin and greek roots.

If Greek theatre, Shakespeare and Wagnerian opera are appropriate studies for academic research, then so should be the cultural phenomena of the present day.
