I did it again and replied in a thread I didn't mean to. I meant to make a new topic.
The Rockies are blowing chunks.
What are we gonna do about that?

They really only blew chunks in game 1. Let's see if things go any differently at Coors Field before any panicking.

Same as always -- cheer for the home team.
Who knew that an eight-day layoff was gonna turn our pitchers into jello?
No excuses -- we're ready 2nite!

That is true.
I was hoping for it to go differently in game 2.
It didn't, so I kinda chunked the two together.

It went a lot differently in game 2. But just ended up in the same place.

I heard that there was a furniture company in Boston who said that if the Red Soxs win the World Series that any furniture bought between March 7 and April 16 would be free.
From what I understand the company bought an insurance policy to protect them if the Red Sox won.

Coors field should help the Rockies immensely.
No DH so Big Papi plays first base and you lose Youkilis.
Manny is waaaaay to old/slow to play that much field and Rockies gain advantage there too.
I read something earlier this week stating they think the home team will win each game of this season - so Red Sox should win. I think the Rockies home field advantage outweighs the Sox advantage.....JMHO.

Ducks is right.
I am really looking forward to Manny matching up against that outfield.
Figures that the only error we make in Game 2 is offensive, not defensive.
T -114 and counting . . .

The furniture company is owned by Berkshire Hathaway - Warren Buffet's company (and a former employer of mine). The insurance policy is also underwritten by one of Berkshire's insurance companies.
Buffet is rooting for the Rockies, I presume. Although he is enjoying the publicity.
A local store in Charlotte did a similar thing with big screen TVs - buy one in August and get a refund if the Panthers win the Super Bowl. I'm guessing the insurance company is not sweating that one now

Good luck with the quote thingie. I looked for instructions somewhere (thinking it might be in the FAQ section) but couldn't find any. It's mostly a hit and miss hope you get it right kind of thing. Good luck!!!

Without the spaces, the coding is [ quote="author" ] to start, and [ /quote ] to end. Thus:
