Re: RIP Pete Carril
I watched so many Carril games, including that great championship at the Garden. A few months later, we elected Pete an honorary member of the Class of 1975.

I missed this news - glad I stopped by. I worked in sports information at Lehigh, where he coached before Princeton. We traveled there once and got beat soundly. Also saw them play Penn at the Palestra in 1981.
He was a great coach, even if a little boring to watch.

Especially so compared to the Big 5 coaches of the era like John Chaney and Rollie Massiminogotribego26 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 3:11 amI missed this news - glad I stopped by.
