Here is a good test. Jasper, when feeling affectionate, likes to be rubbed from the tail towards his head. Start at the sides of spine and use your nails to lightly massage his back as you move your hands towards the head.

See if your kitty likes that.

I have rubbed him backwards like that and I've also rubbed his tummy like a puppy, though much softer and slowly. He seems to love it. Perhaps they come from the same general stock. That must be it.

We'll also see if Artie the PsychoCatnowMom and her chilrens are congenial since Greg is bringing them down tomorrow.

Yikes.
Well, then

Jasper likes his tummy rubbed gently too!

Well, if this is the official nothing to say by kitty thread, I'd better chime in with Kitty. I won't bother to make a new ID to log in.
He'll just have to piggyback on my log in information. 8)

If you looked at the Garden tour photos, you've already seen this.
As you can tell by the photo, Kitty is bored silly and has that
"why are you here and why are you bothering me?" look.

If I could ever figure out how to get my pics down to a smaller size, I would post pics of Ed. The first day we got him - he walked in, did a tour of the house and flopped down on his back with all his neutered parts showing. He loves "tummy rubs".

There are beautemous kittycats in this thread.

YetiGirl likes her tummy rubbed too. If she'll stay still long enough...

I love your spots Bruno.

You and Jasper and Merv should form a Cats With Spotted Bellies Club.

His mom, Bella, has them too. They are pretty much twins, except Bella has lynx-like tufts on her ears.

I like the gold coloring that Jasper has.

Well, I can tell where Bruno lives, because of the carpet. I like that name, it's like he's Bruno Tonioli's housecat, except he's Irish and heterosexual (the cat, I mean. ha!).

You are a beautiful kitty, Bruno.

You look a little like another feline Bruno I know, but she looks smaller than you, and she's very skittish. I think there will never be a photo of her tummy spots.
