Microsoft has finally retired Internet Explorer in favor of its Edge Browser. As of today, anyone clicking on the IE icon will be directed to Edge instead. Eventually, Microsoft will introduce a Windows update that removes the IE icon from all Windows computers. Most Microsoft products including Office 365 haven't worked with Internet Explorer for several months. Chrome now has 74% of browser traffic.

Re: RIP Internet Explorer
I HATE this. Microsoft continually changes my preferred default application for web (Chrome) and pdf (Adobe) to this crappy Edge. I keep changing it back and it somehow gets changed back to Edge.
