A Thought on TGirl

#1 Post by Vandal » Wed Jun 08, 2022 7:42 pm

Big Sky humor:

Four women are driving across the country together, each one from a different state: Idaho, Nebraska, Montana, and California. After the trip begins, the woman from Idaho pulls potatoes from her bag and throws them out the window. “What are you doing?” asks the Nebraskan. “We have so many of these things in Idaho, I’m sick of looking at them.” A moment later, the gal from Nebraska pulls ears of corn from her bag and tosses them out the window. “What are you doing?” asks the gal from Montana. “We have so many of these things in Nebraska, I’m sick of looking at them.” Inspired, the Montanan opens the car door and kicks the Californian out.

BTW, I was recently back in Idaho and you can switch the Montana and Idaho women in the joke above and be spot on.

Weatherford, too. We live in a new community and have met maybe 30 families. 1 from Illinois, 1 from Arizona, the rest....California.

I was told to be kind to refugees from tyrannies
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Yeah, but our Walmart looks pretty sterotypical. Most of those White non-Hispanic are not like me. We have to go down the road towards Fort Worth a bit, to the Hudson Oaks Walmart to fit in.

We became friends with the family of a retired Disney exec who move into our neighborhood. It's been..enlightening.

Another quality limerick from Ol’ Billy Bored:

I know a BB from Montana
Who puts on a bright pink bandanna
Spends the whole day in court

But she won’t let me near her cabana

I should have known it would be beyond your grasp. I noticed that BiT got it right away.

The point is that I doubt you would have provided the background information on Thomas Weatherford had he been an abolitionist. Thinking that BiT has no control over what his city's namesake did 150 years ago, I wanted to look into the city that you far more recently chose as your home. It looks awfully non-POC for a diversity-loving Democrat like you. Just another one of your little hypocrisies, eh?

Well, it doesn't even scratch the surface of some of the incredibly offensive bullshit you have posted that for some reason you think is somehow funny or acceptable. Just sayin....

It never ceases to amaze me how a perfectly harmless, humor-intended thread can fill with vitriol so quickly on the Bored.

I ask that everyone please consider the intent of each thread before replying.

And put the flamethrowers away.

Thanks.

Just sayin. You did the same thing to the joke of the day thread and juneteenth thread. It would be advisable to keep your thoughts to yourself. Other people take umbrage.

You don't have a stalker.
