Sorry, I don't have time to read the 55,000 pages. What concerns you?

The "analysis" of the Pfizer documents has revealed a lot of anti-vax misinterpretation hysteria that has been debunked by numerous fact-checking organizations. One claim that Wolf makes is that the vaccine is harmful to subsequently born babies of pregnant women that take the vaccine and she states that's based on 2021 statistics in a country that's "almost entirely vaccinated." Here's the real story about infant deaths in Scotland, which, not surprisingly is completely opposite to what Wolf claims:
Science Magazine 1/22/22 wrote:Two studies released yesterday delivered dire news about the dangers of COVID-19 to unvaccinated pregnant women and their babies. Perhaps the most disturbing data came from a first-of-its-kind analysis that tracked the tens of thousands of pregnancies in Scotland since vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 became available. It found that unvaccinated, coronavirus-infected women were far more likely than the general pregnant population to have a stillborn infant or one that dies in the first month of life. Among the infected women in the study, every one of the perinatal deaths occurred in the pregnancy of someone who was unvaccinated.

The unvaccinated mothers themselves were also more endangered: Nearly every pregnant person with a SARS-CoV-2 infection who required critical care was unvaccinated. Unvaccinated women also had a far higher rate of hospitalization than their vaccinated counterparts in the study of nearly 88,000 pregnant women.

Yet the study found that in October 2021, months after COVID-19 vaccines became widely available, fewer than one-third of pregnant Scots delivering babies had been fully vaccinated. By contrast, more than 77% of adult women of childbearing age in the general Scottish population were, highlighting a disturbing vaccine hesitancy among the pregnant that is mirrored in many places around the world. “This should shake us up and really be a call to action,” says Yalda Afshar, a high-risk obstetrician at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center who was not involved with the study. “Vaccination is the clear action item to improve health for pregnant people and their babies.”

So a more accurate headline would be "Anti-vax hysteria causes pregnant Scottish women to avoid taking vaccine. Massive increase in infant deaths among the unvaccinated women results."

Another Wolf claim is that there's been a spike in liver damage among children who were breastfed by vaccinated mothers. That claim is debunked here:

https://fullfact.org/health/hepatitis-l ... g-vaccine/

Wolf also claims that her organization had to go to court to force Pfizer to release the documents. That's also untrue. The request was initially made under the Freedom of Information Act and was acknowledged by the CDC. The CDC has only a few employees available to handle such requests and has a limit of about 500 pages a month of documents to release in response to any one request. There were actually 329,000 pages of Pfizer documents. At that rate, it would take the CDC decades to release all the documents.

The reason for the limited ability to respond is that the CDC has to review every one of those 329,000 pages and redact information that's confidential, trade secrets, or otherwise protected. That takes considerable time. After hearing arguments, the federal judge ordered the release of the documents in up to six batches, the first of which was due March I of this year, and was released with 55,000 pages.

By the way, the people who filed the request were not anti-vaxxers like Wolf. They were a named group of 32 doctors, scientists, and journalists from various prestigious universities whose goal in making the request was to dispel rumors about the vaccine. Their organization is PHMPT, PUBLIC HEALTH AND MEDICAL
PROFESSIONALS FOR TRANSPARENCY,

Here's what Smart and Wise people do. They don't rely on unsubstantiated claims from anonymous "experts" regarding 55,000 pages of documents as proof of their thesis, especially when it's been contradicted by millions of real-world results following the widespread use of the vaccine.

Spock will not read any of that.

One of the hospitals I work at delivers about 33% of the babies in our county, so pregnant women who were sick would get flown in there.

There was always a good one or two women on ventilators during the bad waves - always unvaccinated. No appreciable uptick in possible vaccine side effects or poor pregnancy outcomes.

I may not be smart or wise, but I had two sets of eyes.
