I do like Reddit, probably because I don’t have an account and don’t get any extra emails from them, but I don’t understand what message people are sending when they do this uppercase-lowercase back and forth - is it anything like what we call sarcafont?

And the newest iPhones because we all BuY ThEm At FuLL pRiCe.

I'm oblivious. No clue. Don't do iphones but when I've looked at reddit stuff haven't noticed that. Maybe whatever subject is being discussed?

Oh, the comment about the iPhone itself wasn't the issue, but the uppercase-lowercase thing. The thread was about Boomers saying millennials and Gen Z need to start saving more money, like they can, as much as everything costs.

I've since been told by a [millennial] coworker that it is indeed sarcasm, and has something to do with Spongebob repeating what someone else has said in a disbelieving way. They used to include a snapshot of him speaking, though I guess that is technically a meme.

I don't get it, but now I understand that there is some point, so I can quit wondering. Never loved sarcasm anyway, and in print, it's just impenetrable to me.

Well, being a boomer with millenial kids, they ARE saving money. Weird that.
