I worked the polls today
I spent the day working the polls for the North Carolina primary today. One voter complained that electronic balloting would not allow him to see how his vote was recorded and that it would be easy for us to rig it. Another asked me who the white candidates on the ballot were. Other than that is was an enjoyable and interesting day.

I did not. The election judge replied to the first person that the voting was perfectly secure and to the second that poll workers are not allowed by law to comment on the candidates. I wanted to direct the voter to congressional candidate Joe Swartz who is white as is his husband is as well, but I bit my tongue until it bled and stayed silent.
