This show on Acorn is eight episodes in Season 1, featuring Jane Seymour as Harriet Wild, a recently-retired literature professor who helps solve crimes, with her literary or historical knowledge as the key. Watching her build up a posse is half the fun. The first episode dragged a smidge, with a bit much exposition for me early, but then picked up.
It's brand-new, and appears to have a decent amount of location shooting in Ireland, with good production values.
We get our Acorn through Prime but I assume it is available elsewise.
