Thriller TV series
1960/61, Boris Karloff host, American Classics. Murder mysteries, yada. Good for nostalgia and laughs. Must get a bullet bra and pearls.
Well, then

Re: Thriller TV series
The earlier episodes were mostly B-grade action shows, but about halfway through the first season they started to do more and more horror fantasy and these are a lot better. Karloff appeared in a handful of episodes and those are pretty good. My favorites are one with MacDonald Carey as a painter who makes a deal with the devil and the final twist is terrific. Also, there's one with Rip Torn spending the night in a haunted house to get an inheritance. That's also got a good ending. And another with Ursula Andress as a woman who might be a witch.
I have the complete series on DVD and watched it some 5-10 years ago. I'd say about half of the episodes range from decent to very good. Some of the others are very bad.

Re: Thriller TV series
YouTube has a lot of episodes from a wide variety of 50s and 60s series that aren't available for streaming through the various channels. Some of these are public domain episodes, but others are bootlegs. In a lot of cases, people recorded these shows when they were rebroadcast on channels like Nick at Night over the years, so the quality of the videos varies widely. And since those rebroadcasts were often edited to allow more commercials, some of them are shorter than the original broadcasts. For some shows you can watch entire seasons or the entire run of a series, while for others there are only a few selected episodes available. Dailymotion also has some TV episodes from that era, including a few that are not usually included in the various packages.
