When did you last look at yours?

I think I showed mine to a new friend about a year ago.

Before then, it had to be 5 years.

Within the last couple of weeks. I find a couple of shots embarrassing, mainly because I couldn't follow instructions and they remind me of that. As I said, you only get one shot at it and I blew it for some of the photos.

I also wish someone had sent me to a better hair salon. My head was way too furry.

GW was as she has always been, beautiful beyond belief.

Almost thirty years ago now. That's hard to believe, too.

Um, are wedding albums like baby albums? In that case mine is scattered throughout several bags and boxes awaiting coalescence into an album-like construct.

My kids love looking at my album.

They like to comment on the fact that my mother wore white to my wedding.

They await the day when you have your 50th wedding anniversary and your children throw a big party and dig through these albums and create a slide show of ALL your photos from birth, halloween when you dressed up as a snickerdoodle, high school prom with that looooow cut dress, wedding day with that big Texas hair, the day you got that first tattoo and the day it was removed etc. Actually, I photographed a wedding for a friend a few years ago (it was his fourth, her first) and they had a slide show of photos. The first one was cute, because it was a picture of the hospital in New Jersey (they met and were married in SF) where they both were born, though 20 years apart.

When Bill Buckner and Mookie Wilson autographed it, a couple of years ago.

The Bride and I were married October 25, 1986. At any given time, half the guests were upstairs watching Game 6 of the World Series on TV.

That would be big CHICAGO hair, only it was flat and goofy looking.

I have to view mine pretty regularly. It stays on hubby's nightstand to remind him we're married.

Will anyone who's heard me type about my mil be surprised to hear she wore black to mine?

I honestly do not remember. However, I do get to see my lovely peach colored (grrrrrr) tux every day because Margaret decided to hang one of our wedding photos at the end of our hallway.

I'll say we last went thru it in February, when we renewed our vows :)

It stays on Keith's dresser (he has more room!) so we actually see it every day.

The word "album" means "collection" so you indeed have an album. Your collection is just spaced out, is all.

I am still giggling thinking about kusch in a peach tux.

I read that post awhile ago and I am still giggling.

I love that you haven't forced Margaret to take the photo off the wall.

Me too, and from now on, when I remember his Easy Rider impression, it will be with him in a peach tuxedo.

Prolly about 6 months ago. It was in a cabinet that we had to clean out because Olivia knows how to get the door open on the cabinet now. She likes to climb in that empty cabinet and giggle.

Anywho, I look like a child in my weding pics. I had turned 21 two weeks beforehand and I looked so very young and innocent. My hair was really long and David looked like he was still wet behind the ears.

We will be married 15 years on July 31 and it seems like yesterday.

With a ruffled shirt - in a lighter shade of peach.

And darker peach trim along the edge of the ruffles.

And (shudder) white shoes, I'll bet.

The sleeves of the shirt has the same ruffle and sticks out well below the jacket sleeve.

He also has long sideburns.

The belt was only patent leather if the shoes were.

I bet Margaret's hair was parted down the middle.

I hope Kusch appreciates that we managed to talk about him all afternoon. :)
