Wilson Goes; Rodgers Stays
The Seahawks have traded QB Russell Wilson to Denver in exchange for three players (including Denver QB Drew Lock), two #1 choices, and two #2 choices. The trade is dependant on getting Wilson's formal approval and his passing a physical. Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers has agreed toa $200 million, four-year deal to stay with the Packers.

I cringed when I saw the deal. I think we gave away the farm.

Re: Wilson Goes; Rodgers Stays
The QB carousel continues. The Atlanta Falcons traded long-time quarterback Matt Ryan to the Colts for a third-round draft pick. They also signed free agent Marcus Mariotta, most recently the backup quarterback with the Raiders. These moves can't possibly help the Falcons on the field this season, and it's not a real strong year for college QBs in the draft. Plus, the Falcons are saddled with $40 million in dead money from Ryan's contract. (Dead money is money that was to be paid on players no longer on the team that counts against the salary cap.)

In exchange for Matt Ryan, the Falcons received a 3rd round pick. That pick was 82nd overall. 3-82 backwards is...?
