Actor best known for his role on the TV series Dark Shadows and as Greg's father on the series, Dharma and Greg. He was a lead character in the original cast of Dark Shadows but was later replaced by Anthony George and his character was killed off shortly after that. He also played Jim Carrey's boss in Liar, Liar.

He also had a 3-episode arc on "Wings" as the guy who buys the company and installs his son, planning that the son would run it into the ground.

He also played Will Ryker's father on an episode of "Star Trek: TNG."
Probably the last acting he did was part of a Zoom reading of "A Christmas Carol" done by most of the surviving "Dark Shadows" cast members. His first appearance is at the 6:00 minute mark.
