I listened to the whole thing and thought she was talking down to "laymen" as if they were elementary schoolers. Do laymen really not know that Ukraine is a country and Russia is a really big country right next to it?

"Layman" does not usually equate to moron. Our VP either actually has that level of understanding of the issue, or a level of disdain for her audience that allowed that response. I'm baffled that her handlers haven't at least prepared some canned response for situations like that, to avoid the appearance of either arrogance or stupidity. I mean, they've got to know the VP will have to field questions about Ukraine, right?

I am not going to speak for anyone else, but it is my impression that everyone on this bored who has spoken out on the conservative, non MSM side of any issue seems to be very well-spoken and informed on the issue they address. I do think about it. The thought of WWIII terrifies me. But so many here in the west do not have a good understanding of the history of Ukraine and Russia, tha perhaps a simple explanation was warranted. Hopefully it will inspire research and more clarity of what we truly face if Putin is not stopped.

Okay, so, everybody knows that Biden is close to comatose and that Harris is running everything, using him as her puppet. What people don't know, though, is that Biden is not a willing accomplice in this arrangement. So, they're constantly having to do stuff like this; it's already happened millions of times on all kinds of issues. This one is just the only one that's surfaced. The handlers just have him listen to these things, telling him that it's important for him to keep abreast of her activities. He is able to grasp this level of discussion, and ends up doing exactly what she wants
