ESPN Top 100 All-Time MLB Players

We may not have any major league baseball for a while, but ESPN has tried to bridge the gap with its ranking of the top 100 players of all time. The list includes three former Negro League players who either did not play in the majors or had limited accomplishments there: Josh Gibson, Satchel Paige, and Oscar Charleston. Ichiro Suzuki makes the list for his accomplishments in the majors, not in Japan, and no players who played exclusively overseas made the list. The list includes still-active players and some who played before World War I. Some players suspected of performance-enhancing substance abuse made the list, as did Pete Rose and Shoeless Joe Jackson. The top 10:
1. Babe Ruth
2. Willie Mays
3. Hank Aaron
4. Ty Cobb
5. Ted Williams
6. Lou Gehrig
7. Mickey Mantle
8. Barry Bonds
9. Walter Johnson
10. Stan Musial
Just behind them at 11 may be a bit of a surprise, Pedro Martinez. This link takes you to 1-25, and you can click on other links from there to get the rest of the top 100.
