Don't tell Frank

#1 Post by BackInTex » Tue Feb 01, 2022 11:35 am

I visited the Tangredi's last night (in my dreams). I don't know what I was doing there but I was in my Christmas PJs and had arrived on a bicycle. They put me up in a room on the second floor in the back of the house. After being there for longer than I had intended (apparently I was out on an errand and realized I needed to get back before Mrs. BiT got angry, again, with me for spending too much time on the Bored) I went downstairs to tell Frank I was leaving. His wife, Pam, was behind him on the couch. She suddenly fell over, as if having a medical issue, and I quickly told Frank and we went over to check on her. She was fine, just fell asleep briefly (as in narcolepsy). I walked out and couldn't find my bike. I thought briefly it had been stolen, but then remembered it was on the other side of the house. There were another 10-15 bikes there. Frank's house apparently is a destination for bike riders. The end.

I didn't really feel welcomed. You were polite and all, but I kind of felt like Cousin Eddie should have felt when visiting Clark. I knew you wished I were somewhere or someone else.

Your approach was all wrong.

It probably would have helped if you had not been blathering about "Albion" the whole time.
