I was saddened to hear this. Never met him, but I grew up in his neck of the woods and always felt a connection. Thanks for everything you taught me here and on Facebook.

I sent Nancy a card a little while ago, saying how much Thom had meant to us. Wanted to share her reply:

Thom loved being in the message communities, and although he would "gripe" about some ... he still thought well of all. It was sort of a family to him, and he was all about family!
