Well there it is

Well I was afraid of this..due to a lack of transportation, I had to reschedule my flu shot and booster shot last month. I can't get in until February..as a result, it appears I contacted COVID. I don't have the most dangerous symptoms at this point, but this ain't no picnic either. Feeling very sluggish, and with my other health issues, there certainly is cause for concern. Still breathing ok and my temperature is slightly elevated. Coughing, some chills, although I get cold easily anyway, and occasionally nausea...I have to force myself to eat. Sore throat pretty much gone. Wish me luck. Posting this in case I wind up in the hospital and people wonder where I went.

If it's any help - The people I know who have had the milder form of Covid (Like, the stay at home being sick kind) have all said that once the sore throat starts to get better that they overall are getting past the worst of it and recover soon after.

Take care. Best wishes for a smooth and relatively symptomless path of the disease.

Good luck to you.
I am finally over my "cold" after three weeks. It may have been omicron COVID, but I didn't get tested as it wouldn't have made any difference. I haven't been out of my house since I got back from WDW.

All good luck, T-Bone.
Hope same for you as for two of my local friends -- symptomatic two days, then fine the third day. Hoping hoping hoping . . .

Whatever it is, I hope it goes away soon for you my friend! Thanks for letting us know, and don't let it get to the hospital-going stage!
