Boulder fires

#1 Post by BackInTex » Thu Dec 30, 2021 8:46 pm

Mostly south of Boulder city proper, in Superior and Louisville. News reports say about 580 homes destroyed already.

The smoke here in Thornton is terrible but we are well away from the danger.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

Horrible news, very sorry for the peoples who have lost their homes. One of SteelersFan's friends has a son who can see the fire from his front porch. if the wind shifts in his direction, he joins the unhoused.

Local jurisdictions in our county are battling over what to do about our unhoused population, and one jurisdiction had a spot for a homeless camp all picked out until they started hearing from people about -- you guessed it -- fire danger.
