I guess to please people here we are supposed to send Xmas cards with the family on their knees holding up placards that say "Submit" and "Better Red than Dead"-I am guessing that would pass muster here with flying colors.
No, that would be tacky also, since it’s invoking politics and would be unwelcoming to some people.

Less tacky than posing with a bunch of guns, though, especially in the context of the recent murder of children.

It's got to be utterly exhausting to be so easily 'triggered.'

Apparently she doesn't feel a thing.

Or grannies mowed down by an SUV. I guess there are appropriate methods of slaughter here?
And I don't think the Christmas card was good either, but y'all have the rules set in your head. Of course no crazy people are going to use anything other than a govt sanctioned gun, forget about mental illness, parental mental illness.
Meh. Silly me.

I'm guessing that in the immediate aftermath of that attack, car companies probably pulled local ads for SUVs in that area for a bit of time. It's good business to do so because it's just common decency.

No one is saying that government should require these communications to have good taste. But when a public official steps this far beyond the bounds of good taste, criticism of his decision is fair, as are questions about his judgment. --Bob

Correction.
Based on available state-level data, approximately 888,000 abortions took place in the United States in 2019, up from 876,000 abortions in 2018

And how many ads do you see pleading for more, more, more?

Like most of America, I disagree with your views on whether it's appropriate for government to compel a woman to endure an unwanted pregnancy all the way through childbirth. But I'd still find an ad celebrating more and more abortions in execrable taste. --Bob

Do you see any politicians saying, "If only we try a little harder, we can get all the way up to a million abortions in 2022. That's my Christmas wish for the country."

Of course not. Such an ad would be in execrable taste. And that's how I feel about the photo that started this thread. --Bob

I’m opposed to the vast majority of abortions.

Blows your mind? Not difficult to do.

However I try to be consistent in my stance about human life.

I would like you to be consistent about that issue as well. Not just with guns, but supporting appropriate social services to make abortion far less likely.

No, see, unlike some, I don't believe most people are one-dimensional, so mind not blown in the slightest. Here's something for you to consider: you have zero idea about 99.999 percent of who I am or what I do or don't do, or where I lend my support. As a consequence, I couldn't care less what you'd like me to do.

Thanks! There is light on the horizon. I just found out there may be a good primary opportunity. That would be a good PAC to join.

Packers are fine, there are lotsa cheeseheads in this area. Fourth only to Broncos, Cowboys, and Steelers . . .

As for the Raiders, some of us think that Al Davis still owes Mike Shanahan $1 million. Yeah, yeah, I know, Davis is dead . . .
