Post for 11/11

I still check in and see what's going on.
I was sad about Christie and Silver.
One of the things I think about when I think about the bored was a long time ago we had a thread where we wrote a few paragraphs as a start of our own novel or something like that.
I decided to try it, and just through free association I came up with a story about how Larry Hagman (well his chauffeur, actually) ran over someone's cat and put it in their mailbox. As I was writing it, it just cracked me up. I couldn't stop laughing. I don't know if you guys thought it was funny, but I had a great time writing it.

It is good to hear from you again as well as from a couple of the other MIA BB's in recent weeks. It's just too bad that it takes losing a couple of members permanently for that to happen. I miss the contributions and camaraderie from those who haven't been around for a while and hope you and the others will stay in touch a little more.

I still look at the bored, but I will not participate anymore. Why? Look at my signature. You and your comrades, who think of yourselves as compassionate and oh so tolerant, did that. It got to the point that anything I posted got trolled by you or someone else no matter what the subject. In very nasty ways. You don't want anyone questioning your worldview. And I am not interested in doing it anymore.
