This is one of the best horror movies I've seen in years. Unlike Halloween and the like, it's not about buckets of blood and cheap jump scares (although it is violent). It's got an intelligent plot with a good, tricky mystery. And it's got great actors, including Diana Rigg in her last film, Terence Stamp, and Rita Tushingham. Plus the cinematography and editing are terrific (I think there are Oscar possibilities here). And throw in a great 60s soundtrack to boot.
It's depressing to see total crap like the latest Halloween movie score big at the box office while nobody goes to see this. However, it's almost guaranteed to have quite a successful life on video.

This was definitely one of the most interesting previews when I saw "The Sparks Brothers" movie a few months ago. Edgar Wright directed both movies.
