Singer/songwriter best known for "Lay a Little Lovin' on Me." He was also part of the Broadway cast of Hair (eventually playing the lead role). I had forgotten about this song until I looked it up on YouTube and then remembered the tune which is quite catchy.

Always liked that song, although for the longest time I was never quite sure if the singer was male or female.
