Got a third shot today

#1 Post by wbtravis007 » Wed Sep 01, 2021 6:30 pm

I guess maybe I’m a guinea pig here.

I took my parents to get a third Moderna shot. That was recommended by their doc.

I asked the nurse administering it what the deal was with people like me: first pfizer shot 1/6; second one 1/27; breakthrough infection on 7/4 (caught, I’m sure, from my 18 year old daughter influenced by necks around here who scared her about vaccines causing infertility) with relatively mild symptoms for a couple of days (compared to her feeling pretty bad for about two weeks); and 68 years old.

She said if I wanted a shot she’d give it to me. I didn’t have my card or anything. Just filled out a form. No ID required.

Done deal.

We’ll see. My main concern has always been making sure that my parents don’t get it

We should be hearing soon from our medical group who gave us our first shots about what the protocols will be for a third shot.

Thanks, Scoop!

So far no side effects.
